According to a source on the scene, the Hannah Montana starlet, who was accompanied by her mother Tish, got brand new hair extensions before the mother/daughter duo enjoyed some retail therapy at the nearby shops.

Being one of the hottest teen actresses in Hollywood is hard work!  And Miley Cyrus took a much-needed break from her filming schedule yesterday to play in the ocean.

The singer/actress has been hard at work on her beach set in Malibu, California all week, so she jumped at the chance to play a little bit with a few friends (and pooches!) when the cameras stopped rolling.

Miss Cyrus wore a flirty yellow and orange retro-style swimsuit as she splashed in the waves with a few gal pals, making the most of the beautiful Malibu surroundings.

At one point, Miley hopped on a surfboard and paddled around before heading back into shore and hopping into a beach car to head back home.

Wearing a white and blue Hawaiian dress, the Disney starlet was all smiles as she was carried about by four sexy surfers – filming her new flick “Hannah Montana: The Movie”.

Enjoying the summer California weather, Miley Cyrus stepped out on Tuesday afternoon with her mother Tish and family for a day at the Universal Studios Theme Park in Los Angeles.

Over the course of her afternoon, the Hannah Montana singer/actress was seen entering the park’s newest attraction, The Simpsons’ Ride, signing autographs and posing for pictures with fans along the way.

When Miley learns that the spot was originally assigned to a famous puppet, Pancake Buffalo, she tries to swap back without any luck. Meanwhile, Robby subs for Jackson at work and clashes with Rico.

Along the way, he learns that he doesn’t have superpowers and that the show is not realistic.
